Hello PC Bears!

I am honored and humbled to serve as the president of Phoenix College, a Maricopa County Community College. In the days, weeks, months and years, to come, we will have countless opportunities to get to know each other and to discuss issues of importance and concern. Because you are a valued member of the PC community, your insights on the direction of the College is most significant.

In the near future, you will be invited to an open house – where I look forward to speaking with you about how we can improve student retention and completion rates; the biggest challenges facing higher education today. PC has dynamic faculty and staff who are eager to ensure that we provide a high-quality education to diverse learners. As you may know, the students enrolled at PC represent more than 109 different countries – which make us unique.

I invite you to share your thoughts with me via social media @phxcollegeprez (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and SnapChat), by email at pc-presidents-office@phoenixcollege.edu, and through personal conversations. Our dialogue will, no doubt, point to new ideas and actions for inaugurating the next century of work.

We are so very proud of how Phoenix College scholars and alumni are transforming our community, our state, and the world. Thank you for being a proud PC Bear; I look forward to meeting you.
