Monday - Thursday: 9:00a-1:00p
Saturday: 10:00a - 2:00p
What assistance is provided?
- Mobile device support
- Phone, tablet, and computer support for student devices,
- including Android, Apple, and Windows
- Software support including:
- Google Apps for Education, Microsoft Office 365, and Adobe
- Creative Cloud
- Canvas support
- General troubleshooting
- Virus, Spyware, and Malware investigation, removal, or referral
Q: How does this differ from the IT Helpdesk?
A: PC IT’s Help Desk is primarily for employee support,
related to college-owned devices and for classrooms. While some
student support takes place, it is not as robust as students have
Q: How is this just available now?
A: In the Fall 2018 semester, PC IT and the Library joined to
submit an innovation funding request for the Student Help Desk.
This in-person support joint venture was approved with one-time
innovation funding to attempt to better serve the students of PC.
Q: Is only walk-up support available?
A: Yes, at the present time we want to measure the success of
having a physical location where students can interact with our
Help Desk staff to get the support they need.
Q: Will you be gathering data on success?
A: Yes, we will be documenting any support which takes place and
will evaluate after this semester concludes to determine success.
