Phoenix College Presents "la ofrenda"

Beginning February 7. for one weekend only, we celebrate Latinx Theatre for Young Audiences with our production of "la ofrenda" (the offering). Alex, a young boy who has recently lost both his parents in the tragedy of 9/11, is forced to move to Los Angeles to live with his only living relative, his grandmother: a strong-willed Chicana.

We will explore the traditions of Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) and invite teachers and students from around the Valley to enjoy this production. The play is produced by special arrangement with The Dramatic Publishing Company of Woodstock, Illinois.
