"Ensnared with Flowers, I Fall on Grass" & "Fragmented Landscapes" Galleries Now Open

The Phoenix College Fine and Performing Arts program is proud to announce their newest main gallery presentation, "Ensnared with Flowers, I Fall on Grass. Works by Cami Galofre & Jessica Palomo."

Sensitive to their environment, Galofre and Palomo present an intangible and sublime reality through symbolic uses of natural structures and abstracted impulses. Amidst bold gestures, fluid color fields, and physical movements, they carefully investigate the limits of their mediums, embracing unrestrained processes and outcomes. Though their final expressions are inherently different, their aesthetics come from the shared poetic place, manifested through their combined approach of spontaneous conversation.

We will also be featuring an event in our side gallery as well.  Fragmented Landscapes - Rossitza Todorova

Fragmented Landscapes features the work of artist Rossitza Todorova. Todorova creates abstracted landscapes inspired by her environment. This new body of work is set in the western desert. Fragmented Landscapes are comprised of drawings, sculptural books, and video. Through fracturing, reflecting and blocking out information, Todorova is exploring ideas of personal and physical transformation.

The Galleries will run January 22 through February 7.

We hope to see everyone there.
