Phoenix College Takes 1st in the ACCE Business Case Competition

Phoenix College Students Win 2018 ACCE Competition

Last Friday, four Phoenix College students competed in the University of Arizona hosted ACCE (Arizona Community College Excellence) Business Case Competition. The students, Marlene Arvizo, Christopher Sanchez, Chiao Chen Wang, and Pablo Porras not only competed in the competition, they took home first place!

The Arizona Community College Excellence Business Case Competition is an event open to all Arizona community colleges and provides students an opportunity to work as a team to evaluate and make recommendations on a realistic business case scenario. A highly competitive competition, this is the first time Phoenix College took home first place honors.

The winning team received special recognition and a year of bragging rights! Students from the winning team also received a $500 scholarship to be used for enrollment at the Eller College of Management.

Please take a moment to congratulate these students and their advisor, Brenda Maynard. Phoenix College is incredibly proud of them. #pcProud
