Bears’ Men’s Basketball back on the rise in latest NJCAA DII Poll

Bears move up 2 spots to 8th in new national rankings

        

Colorado Springs, CO – February 7, 2017 -- Phoenix College is proud to announce that the Bears’ Men’s Basketball team is ranked 8th in the latest NJCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Poll.  The #8 slot is a rise of two spots from last year’s ranking, and it’s the 8th time in the 9 polls released this season that the Bears are part of the NJCAA Top 10.  The Bears are now one of two ACCAC teams representing the conference in the NJCAA Polls (Arizona Western is 25th in the Division I Poll).  The Bears will play their first home game in 3 weeks tomorrow (Wednesday) night as they host Eastern Arizona College as part of an ACCAC Men’s-Women’s Basketball doubleheader.  Tipoff for the men is scheduled for 7:30PM following the women’s game at 5:30PM.
